UP-DATE ON LIFE!

Good Morning/ Afternoon-ish

Hey blog buddies! Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, I was given a big project at work which literally took hours/ days to complete, but I'm done! Hallelu!!! So this is what has happened since last

Tattoo- I got it!!! It looks amazing and I will upload pics once I get home. I feel like what gets you is not the tattoo itself but the waiting. This being my first one, I was more nervous then a terrorist in the white house! But I had two of my best friends there which helped a heck of a lot. Between the arguing and one of them spontaneously deciding to get another tattoo as we were at the studio, I felt less nervous/anxious. I must admit that the night before I did have some second thoughts. What if I hate it? What if it will ruin my career? Stuff like that, but then I was like, what the hell, there's make-up to cover it and I only have this body once. So here's my advice, first, if you have second thoughts then yes take the time to think about it and follow what you inner voice tells you! Second, upon arriving at the studio, if you know you will be nervous, invite your supportive, good friends to come and help you calm down. It helps if they bicker and speak loudly :P
Glasses- Yes I have glasses now! I went to get my eyes checked out last Saturday and my optometrist told me I have astigmatism. I'm also pretty sure that he's gay and just a little bit too touchy. In any case I am now the proud owner of a pair of Perry Ellis glasses, which if I may add looks very good on me. I've always loved glasses on people. I like boys with glasses, to me they look very handsome and intelligent I guess you can say I have a weak spot in my heart for geeks :P

Aside from those two things(which are quite major) nothing else has changed in my life. Sunday is LGBT pride in New York and two of my friends and I are going. I went last year and even though I was by myself for the most part (Friend joined me after she finished class) I had a great time. I saw a lot, learn a lot and had an all round good time. We will board the Metro-North(because Amtrak is the most expensive thing ever!) at 9:00 with all the gays in CT and off we will go to the city!
GOALS FOR NY DAY!- See pride, go to canal street to get my Louis... and.... shop? Fun Fun Fun I'll make sure to take lots of pics so you guys can see!

Till then
-Thao Nguyen Love and Compassion to all
