Good Morning!Now I know what you're thinking and no it's not that kind of bag :P For about a few years now I've been wanting this gorgeous Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Bosphore backpack(mouthful lol) only problem is that it costs about 880.00 pounds which at my salary rate costs an arm and a leg and my first born child. According to my former director/now boss "Doc" the pound is now about $1.25 US, which means the bag now is roughly $1,300. Steep price to pay for a smelly, printed, canvas bag? You tell me? College tuition or Canvas bag?
Usually I would say no rush but as I just found out, you can no longer order them online! I know for a fact that the only one in reaching distance is in Farmington, CT in the newly made Louis Vuitton store in West Farms. Only ONE!!! So tell me this readers, to bag or not to bag?

I just got a lead from a very reliable source that the corner of Canal Street and Broadway have vendors who sell knock-offs of $1000's designer stuff for $20-$30 dollars!!! Yes they are knock-offs so technically they are not legal, but who the h*ll cares! Once again, on my student salary and at the risk of offering my arm, leg and first born child, I might go for this option. Who wants to go on a shopping trip with me! Thank you for responding guys!
You should see if they have any on Ebay or at least try to find a cheap, decent knock off. Because I can't let you give up your unborn child, even if it is for a gorgeous bag such as that one ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely on the fence with this one. I personally would love to walk around with designer clothing and accessories whenever but like there's a limit as to how much one should spend on such things. However, you could make it like a fun saving game where you save a part of your check from Doc every...month? week? Idk, and then eventually be able to get it.

Seeing that we are clearly the same person, I will say with brute honesty that I do think that something would happen to the bag and it get marked or damaged in some way and it would cost another $1000 dollars just to fix it... and like seeing that we're the same person, I think thats a relatively safe bet. In that case, I go with chelsea and say get a really good looking knock off one.
